Your Invitation: Shoulder To Shoulder

Having a view here – riding on Abba’s shoulders – is nothing short of a miracle for me. To simply have an opportunity to share my words and His gentle whispers is a dream come true. But therein lies a slight controversy…

Simply enjoying the view is too comfortable.

No, this community is much more than His Words just impacting my life.

You see, 2014 taught me that so many of us walk shoulder to shoulder with living testimonies each and everyday. Yet, often times we miss the opportunity to invite others into our God-given spaces. Our places of influence. Our homes. Our online ministries. His ministry. Are we not riding on His shoulders together – just with different views, different experiences and amazing stories?

As iron sharpens iron, so one person sharpens another. (‭Proverbs‬ ‭27‬:‭17‬ NIV)

Our hearts always need softening and our writing pens always need sharpening.

Welcome to a new guest-post series I am starting to encourage open-sharing with all writers (whether you have a blog or not). If God has impacted your life in a way that has changed you from the inside-out, I would love to celebrate with you! Here is my invitation to share your story. By sharing your words, you will sharpen the faith of others you may never meet. That, my friend, is a welcomed treasure.

[tweetthis url=”http://www.bethanyboring.com/shoulder-to-shoulder”]Here is your personal invitation to guest post here Riding On Abba’s Shoulders[/tweetthis]

Posts will be added as I receive your stories (for my readers, I will only share up to three posts per week and this series will be incorporated into one of these sharing opportunities as available). This will be an ongoing invitation for you to share, be encouraged, find connections and rest in His Word. Yes friend, you are always welcome here.

As bloggers, our platform is a gift that can easily be taken away.

[tweetthis]Never let your ego get in the way of His message.[/tweetthis]

It’s time to welcome others into the conversation.

Welcome to a space God has given me to use for His glory. I’m so glad you can be a part of it!

COOL idea.

God has certainly changed me from the inside out, in what I guess is a literal way, because I’m being slowly killed by a rather unpleasant illness.

And I don’t resent it. I figure that it’s either just an accident arising from a world in which free will is required…a byproduct of that paradigm…and God is way big upset about it.

Or maybe the illness was floating around, and He made sure it came to me – caring enough to send the very worst – because He knew I would not only endure, but turn it into something positive, or at least funny (what’s the point in dying if you can’t laugh about it?).

What I do NOT believe is that He sent it to me, to help me learn something, because I’m way past where the lesson would have been appreciated.

    Hey Andrew –
Your story interests me in so many different ways. I’m really hoping you submit a post I can share. I would like for readers to see your unique viewpoint. You have been through so much. Yet, you still seem strong. That needs a voice my friend.

http://musingsofachristainhousewife.weebly.com/1/post/2014/09/its-going-to-be-ok.html. My testimony of recovering over anorexia. God helped me so much through this time even when I didn’t see.
