Just got my initial blood work completed before heading to my scheduled neuro rescan. Originally I was scheduled for a different location, but due to machine issues I ended up right back “home” at the cancer center. The blood sample must be read and cleared prior to the scan, thus, I have free time and thought “Why not update?”
Things have been going well with our family. Steve is still in nursing school and loaded down with work. Traveling to Orlando almost everyday isn't exactly easy. Josh and Caden are growing-up so fast! Josh has his own alarm clock now and Caden has officially moved to the toddler bed! I think if we didn't have this miracle boy on the way, all of these changes would make me sad…now I'm actually getting excited about doing some of these milestones over again!
I am 20 weeks and 4 days today. Time is flying by. Because of me being high risk, I get ultrasounds scheduled every few weeks…but the hospital isn't exactly the most enjoyable. They never mention if anything is wrong, the measurements…I didn't even see the screen last time! I have a feeling I'll be sharing my opinion this next time…I have another ultrasound for the Wednesday before Thanksgiving.
Looks like I'm finally being called back for the scan. There is just something eerie about being in a cancer treatment facility with Halloween decorations…just sayin'…
