31 Whispers With Abba: From Surviving To Thriving

For those of us who define “quiet time” as fingers curling up under our bathroom door.

For those of us who dread the traffic lights that await our morning commute…or carpool…or bus route.

For those of us that skip breakfast and seriously believe it’s a routinely healthy choice.

For those of us that would rather die than sit in a quiet room alone with just our thoughts.

For those with kids.

For those with dogs, or cats, or fish (because you were told maintaining an aquarium was easy…).

For those without children.

For those that still act like kids.

For those silently yearning for a break from the chaos-induced constant fight to catch-up lifestyle.

For those desperately wanting to hear the genuine, real whisper of their Abba Daddy, daily calling them by name…your name…the one He gave you.

For those who doubt this Abba even cares…about you…your fears…your deep wounds…you blaming Him for not being there.

For those who are searching.

For those who believe they are found.

For those longing to be found…by someone, anyone who cares.

For anyone that is ready to move from surviving life to thriving completely in Him and through His ever-present touch.

I am here for you – with you.

October 1-31st is our coffee table. A time set each day for us to share, kick off our sandals and simply connect.

Each day I will be blogging on ways God can calm our chaos and whisper Truth during our hectic craziness.

It may get a little messy.

Laughs always guaranteed.

This may get a little tough to swallow at times.

But change never looked so good.

Are you ready?

My prayer for you my friend –

I pray that from his glorious, unlimited resources he will empower you with inner strength through his Spirit. Then Christ will make his home in your hearts as you trust in him. Your roots will grow down into God’s love and keep you strong. And may you have the power to understand, as all God’s people should, how wide, how long, how high, and how deep his love is. May you experience the love of Christ, though it is too great to understand fully. Then you will be made complete with all the fullness of life and power that comes from God. Now all glory to God, who is able, through his mighty power at work within us, to accomplish infinitely more than we might ask or think. (Ephesians 3:16-20 NLT)

As I have felt this morning I have reached the end of my rope with life with my 12 yr old step son & told God once again I can’t to this alone & I need him more than ever before I stumble upon your blog. Coincidence I don’t think so! God know just what I need right when I need it!

    Bethany says October 14, 2014

    Tonya –
I took some time before replying and just lifted you up in prayer. I know how it feels to be at the end of your rope, feeling like you just can’t go on in this way much longer. Praying you know that you are not alone. You are heard and praying Gods presence surrounds you this day!!

As you know – God doesn’t make mistakes!
